ABOUT US

Full, Intermediate and 6 Day Male Members can join the Section by paying a nominal £1 to the Professional for a year’s membership

Ages of people in the section are between 18 and 85 years so suitable for all.

Winter comps: 12 or 14 holes depending on sunlight hours

Summer comps: 18 holes

The section has a dedicated notice board within the Gents Locker Room on which are posted details of forthcoming events. They are also on the Club Website and App

Various competitions under different formats are held during the year and there is an away day at a local course during the summer

HOW CAN I JOIN IN

You must have a handicap.

How do I get a handicap – You must submit 3 cards of rounds over 18 holes played with an existing member of HMGC. These should be passed to Simon in the Pro shop or to the Office and the Match and Handicap Committee will then allocate you a handicap

Competitions run from 9.30 to 3.30 on a Wednesday and can be booked via BRS

Bookings are available from 10.00 on a Thursday 13 days before the date

AFTER WE’VE PLAYED

The Clubhouse is fully open for food and drink

Presentations takes place for the day’s competition between 5.00pm and 5.30pm
